McTimoney-Corley Equine & Canine Spinal Therapy - Jenny Gray-Wallis Dip. MCAM (OCEPT)
McTimoney-Corley Spinal Therapy is a method of restoring health by gentle corrective manipulation of the bones of the head, spinal column, pelvis and limbs, thereby ensuring the proper functioning of the nerves and endocrine systems which control the natural self-healing capability of the body.

Reasons for Treatment:

  • Intermittent lameness
  • Horse one sided / uneven or stiff on one rein
  • Uneven stride, when ridden or on the lunge
  • Horse favours one canter lead
  • Breaking from canter to trot
  • Bucking, rearing, bolting, napping
  • Unwilling to work on the bit or hollowing back
  • Jumping fast and flat instead of basculing, or refusing to jump
  • Jumping to one side
  • Disunited in canter
  • Throws head up through transitions
  • Inability to halt square
  • Horse not straight (hindquarters to one side when working)
  • Difficulty in collected/lengthened strides
  • Decrease in normal performance

After treatment your horse should be more willing to perform as his body is back in alignment, and will be straighter, more flexible and more forward going.

Benefits of treatment:

  • Horses and dogs are more supple after just 1 treatment
  • Releases muscle tension and stiffness
  • Improved range of movement
  • Increased muscle strength, allowing your horse or dog to perform more easily and comfortably
  • Improved jumping technique and horses able to complete more difficult dressage movements such as lateral work.
  • Horses and dogs are able to work at their optimum levels without stress, unevenness or tension in their body.

This treatment is open to the Veterinary Surgeons Act, which dictates that the treatment of animals can only be administered with veterinary approval - a simple call to your Vets means treatment can continue.
